Hi Everyone,

I just found out this week that I'm Type 2 Diabetic.....When I got this news I wasn't thrilled and I didn't take it well. That being said I was angry and feeling that Life as I knew it was over. I took it out on the Medical professional who gave me the bad news. This I shouldn't have done as it wasn't her fault. I 'm reaping what I have eaten over the last few years and it is coming home to roost. It is now time to pay the Piper so to speak. I now have to test my blood sugar level 3 times a day and keep a log of it. I now also have to watch what I eat and when I eat it. I think the biggest problem is the fact that I now need to lose about 20 lbs minimum. That means I now need to go for a walk at least three times a week. After being on my feet all day at work the last thing I want to is go for a walk. I am still trying to come to grips with this as this was a lot of info to digest.....on Monday the 9th my Blood Sugar level was 407 today the 13th my last reading was 116.....I've made some adjustments since Monday......and there seem to be a big difference ....I'll keep ya posted as how things progress.......type at ya later......OH While I'm at it I hearby Publicly apologize to my Medical professional for the way I treated her and If she reads this I hope she understands things from My perspective....... I mean Jobs are being created and Taxes are going down;he eliminated the debt the state had, controlled the spending, made the state workers pay their fair share of both retirement and health care plans just the those in the private sector do. Hi ya All, In Wisconsin there are some ads playing in the local TV market using school age kids saying shame on the Republican candidate on her stance in trimming Govt spending. Since when do they have a vote in the recall elections.....last I heard you had to be at least 18 to vote in the country and not some high school kid. I think it is Despicable to use children in ads like this.....if the shoe was on the other foot they (the Democrats) would be screaming foul.......and you know they would too..........Gary

I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, called upon America to unite behind Obama.
Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen that I AM NOT uniting behind Obama !

I will respect the Office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and wordsmith and pray for him, BUT that is it.
I have begun today to see what I can do to make sure that he is a one-term President !

Why am I doing this ?
It is because:
- I do not share Obama's vision or value system for America ;
- I do not share his Abortion beliefs;
- I do not share his radical Marxist's concept of re-distributing wealth;
- I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000+ (the ceiling has been changed three times since August);
- I do not share his view that America is Arrogant;
- I do not share his view that America is not a Christian Nation;
- I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%;
- I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than our American Citizens who need help;
- I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage;
- I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy who should give up any land;
- I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public);
- I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the healthcare system in America ;
- I do not share his Strategic views of the Middle East ; and
- I certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran ..

Bottom line: my America is vastly different from Obama's, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my GOD to do what is Right !
For eight (8) years, the Liberals in our Society, led by numerous entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family, and his spiritual beliefs!

They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our Country!
They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant!
They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years!
They have mocked and attacked the very core values so important to the founding and growth of our Country!
They have made every effort to remove the name of GOD or Jesus Christ from our Society!
They have challenged capital punishment, the right to
bear firearms, and the most basic principles of our criminal code!
They have attacked one of the most fundamental of all Freedoms, the right of free speech!

Unite behind Obama? Never ! ! !
I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard, but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of Evil!

PRESIDENT BUSH made many mistakes during his Presidency, and I am not sure how history will judge him. However, I believe that he weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!!
Majority rules in America , and I will honor the concept; however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama and his "goals for America ."
I am going to be a thorn in the side of those who, if left unchecked, will destroy our Country!! Any more compromise is more defeat!

I pray that the results of this election will wake up many who have sat on the sidelines and allowed the Socialist-Marxist anti-GOD crowd to slowly change so much of what has been good in America !

I don't have anything against coming to the United States to make a better life for one's self and family. There is a procedure for that very thing. Hi All, My thoughts on High Speed Rail are that it is all well and good if one would really ride it. I'm also thinking that before jumping to HSR we should establish regular passenger rail first. I'm thinking yeah passenger rail to Madison (our State Capitol) , to Green Bay and the Fox Valley Cities( Appleton,Oshkosh,Fond Du Lac). It might mean upgrading the tracks currently in use by the CN and the CP to do this but that could be done with their help....it would benefit them also as then their trains could go faster also.....it might also mean double tracking areas to facilitate efficient train movement. We could also do joint stuff with Illinois to do Chicago to Madison through Janesville too. Just my thoughts......Gary

Today's Road Trip

Hi Everyone, Today my wife and I went down to Rochelle Il to watch some a trains and videotape them....Well it turns out it seems that this trip was jinxed from the start....first of all it seems that every road is under const. I-39 was horrible....netween the Wi-Il stateline and the junction with US 20......after that it was ok.....got to Rochelle and only saw 3 trains.....decided to go over to the West end of Eola yard in Aurora so went there via Geneva Il;we never saw so much road const. on the way there. We stopped there for lunch.....a great place called Citizen Kane a pub style restaurant in an old movie theater.....after which we went to Eola West ........the road called McClure rd has been closed at the tracks.....but we were there for about 45-50 minutes and saw 5 trains...we are looking forward to going back there soon......type at you later....Gary

Obama or his liberal congressional friends are the one capable of it but on the other hand I'm not sure Mr. J. McCain is either ...My choice dropped out before giving himself a real chance to see what he could do...My first choice was Fred Thompson and second choice was Mitt Romney....Mr Thompson was a Senator for a few years before running and had expirence..Mr Romney ran a successful business before being a Governor so he has experence on both in the public and private sectors...It seem to me that we are left with the leftovers and that is not good for the country.....Gary

George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years. The first six the economy was fine. A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;

2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;

3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.

4) the DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 +

5) American's were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations overseas, living large!...

But American's wanted 'CHANGE'!

So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress and yes--we got

CHANGE' all right. In the PAST YEAR:

1) Consumer confidence has plummeted;

2) Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon & climbing!;

3) Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 10% increase);

4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS and prices still dropping;

5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.

6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~ $2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!

YES, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE...AND WE SURE

GOT IT! ...

REMEMBER THE PRESIDENT HAS NO CONTROL OVER ANY OF THESE ISSUES, ONLY CONGRESS.

Hi Everyone, just some thoughts on something I heard just a little while ago....It seems like the Detroit Lions have fired their General Manager Matt Millen...from the Detroit fans point of view it is about time....but looking at it from the rest of the North Divisions fans this isn't a good thing ...Matt was keeping the lions from being a good to great team too that end we thank him ...but now that he's gone Detroit might now just get some one who knows what he's doing which doesn't bode well for the rest of the teams in the Division. They have a temporary GM but can he turn the team around....Time will tell but if you ask this nonsports nut the division just got a little tougher....Just my humble opinion....Gary

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me.
I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.
In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem.
What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.
Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet.
I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping people who are sitting on their ASSES, doing drugs, while I work. . . .
Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Energy independence....

Hi Everybody.....I heard today that GWB was in Saudi Arabia talking the the Saudis about doing something to lower the price of gas here....Talk about Hot air...and a waste of time...It is very simple what needs to be done .....BTW they said NO ....SO

1). Start drilling in Anwar ....the area we need to drill in is so small it isnt funny....they're talking 2000 acres out of 1,000,000+ acres or let me put it in terms you can understand....take a 4ft by 8 ft sheet of plywood ( that represents the million+ acres) put a put a standard coffee saucer in one corner (that represents the 2000 acres) not to mention it's only light there 55 days a year...no one goes there we(the US ) tap the oil there and we can tell the saudis, Mr. Chaves ,and anybody else that doesn't like us to PISS OFF...and we can sell them oil.....not that we will.

2). BUILD MORE REFINERIES.....we havent built any in like 25-30 years ...all we've done is expand the few we do have into these huge places that if something happens at one (like a fire or hurricane or other distaster the frickin price spikes ....DUH there is plenty of oil coming in to this country we just cant refine it fast enough to meet the demand hence supply goes down and the price goes UP....WAY THE HELL UP....There shouldnt be 4 dollar gas in this country....

3). Start drilling offshore for the same reason as in number 1 .... Hell man the chinese and the Cubans (100miles) already are out there ...and if the rigs are out that far who is going to see them from shore anyhow....

4). get rid of all the different types of gas which are blended of this area or that area....IF this reformulated is go for one area it's good for the whole frickin' country.....all we need is your basic unleaded, midgrade and preminium unleaded that way there is plenty of gas for everyone.....

as for generating electricity there are 2 ways to go coal which we have more than enough to last the next 1,000 years just in this country alone if not more.....but we could go and build more Nuclear plants....just take a look at the countries of France,Japan,Germany,England who get anywhere between 25 to 75 percent of there electricity from nuke plants all without major accidents....

IF you want to be energy independant WAKE UP AMERICA and GIT R DONE.....WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY WE CAN REBUILD IT....IT'LL BE BETTER ONLY IF WE WANT IT TO BE ......we need to take the lead on this we have some of the greatest minds in the world we just need to use them....

After long and serious thought, I have decided to endorse SenatorJohn McCain for President.
I have always voted for the person and have not voted for anyone because some political party was telling me who I should vote for.We all know the choices by now and, that said, I do believe that the process of selecting a chief executive is deeply flawed.
The words "money" and "special interests" come to mind, among many others.
Here's the way I see it:
Barack Obama, you are a fine public speaker. You are also an extremely liberal Senator from the State of Illinois, which has a long and rich history of political corruption of the first magnitude. You are indeed a child of that system. You have finally insulted my intelligence far beyond my capacity to tolerateyour insults. It has nothing at all to do with your skin color. As a matter of fact, it would be so COOL to finally have an African-American forPresident. What a great statement that would be to the entire world thatwe are indeed the greatest country on earth !

But, unfortunately,General Colin Powell is not running, and YOU are NOT the man for this job !

Barack baby, you want me to believe that you have never heard the sermons of your ownpastor, the Right Reverend "God Damn America" Jeremiah Wright. It is a matter of record that this has been your church for over 20 years. It is a matter of record that you were married there by this verypastor, and that your children were baptized there. The good Reverend saw fit to visit Khadafy in Libya with you and to give a lifetimeachievement award to Louis Farrakhan, of all people. Think about it.We have Kim Jong IL, Chavez and Ahmadenijad all running around like lunatics, threatening America and threatening to plunge the world into nuclear Armageddon. We have Putin and the Chinese blustering and rattling their sabers at us. I want John McCain in the Oval Office and I want him to be really pissed off at all these other nut jobs around the planet.John, once you are elected, I want you to go into the Oval Office and throw one of your perfect FITS. On the domestic front, poor John did try and reach across the aisle to the opposition in a desperate effort to compromise and to get the Congress to do something.

Finally. John McCain knows on a most personal level what it is to suffer horrible torture for years and to see others die, right in front of you, for their love of America. When you ask him about it, he will tell you that what he did was "nothing special". Even more incredibly, hestates that ANY American who truly loves his country would do exactly the same as he did in that situation. You and I will have a hard time believing that, but the real point is that John McCain believes that about the "average American", and that, dear friends and neighbors, is why I will cast my one poor ballot for on election day for JohnMcCain--warts and all.

A Concerned Citizen

The Snow storm

Hi All, That last read was a little intense so here is a little light reading. Yesterday (2/06/08) we got friggin dumped on with snow here in the Milwaukee Wi metro area ....with most places getting at least 12 inches and some places getting more than that...Saukville in Ozaukee County and Jackson in Washington County both got 20 inches.....man that is a lot of snow ...I have here in Brookfield Wi got 13.5 inches here and I'm beginning to run out of places to put it all I just hope it doesn't all melt at once but kind of slow like....this should help raise the level of Lake Michigan some...not to mention we could always send some down to the drought area in the SE area of the country down in Georgia,Alabama,SE Tennessee, or SW North Carolina where they really need the water....All we need to do is get a big snowblower and blow it into a refrigated trailer truck and truck it down there and then shovel it out on to the ground where it would melt and soak in....only problem is cost.....Type at you later Gary

Middle East Imperative

I wrote recently about the war in Iraq and the larger war against radical Islam, eliciting a number of responses. Let me try and put this conflict in proper perspective. Understand, the current battle we are engaged in is much bigger than just Iraq.What happens in the next year will affect this country and how our kids and grandkids live throughout their lifetime, and beyond. Radical Islam has been attacking the West since the seventh century. They have been defeated in the past and decimated to the point of taking hundreds of years to recover. But they can never be totally defeated. Their birth rates are so far beyond civilized world rates that in time they recover and attempt to dominate again.

There are eight terror-sponsoring countries that make up the grand threat to the West. Two, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, just need firm pressure from the West to make major reforms. They need to decide who they are really going to support and commit to that support. That answer is simple. They both will support who they think will hang in there until the end, and win. We are not sending very good signals in that direction right now, thanks to the Democrats. The other six, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, North Korea and Libya will require regime change or a major policy shift. Now, let's look more closely.&nbs p;

Afghanistan and Iraq have both had regime changes, but are being fueled by outsiders from Syria and Iran. We have scared Gaddafi's pants off, and he has given up his quest for nuclear weapons, so I don't think Libya is now a threat.

North Korea (the non-Islamic threat) can be handled diplomatically by buying them off. They are starving. That leaves Syria and Iran. Syria is like a frightened puppy. Without the support of Iran, they will join the stronger side. So where does that leave us? Sooner, or later, we are going to be forced to confront Iran, and it better be before they gain nuclear capability. In 1989 I served as a Command Director inside the Cheyenne Mountain complex located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for almost three years. My job there was to observe (through classified means) every missile shot anywhere in the world and assess if it was a threat to the US or Canada. If any shot was threatening to either nation, I had only minutes to advise the President, as he had only minutes to respond.

I watched Iran and Iraq shoot missiles at each other every day, and all day long, for months. They killed hundreds of thousands of their people. Know why? They were fighting for control of the Middle East and that enormous oil supply.

At that time, they were preoccupied with their internal problems and could care less about toppling the west. Oil prices were fairly stable and we could not see an immediate threat. Well, the worst part of what we have done as a nation in Iraq is to do away with the military capability of one of those nations. Now, Iran has a clear field to dominate the Middle East, since Iraq is no longer a threat to them. They have turned their attention to the only other threat to their dominance, they are convinced they will win, because the US is so divided, and the Democrats (who now control Congress and may control the Presidency in 2008) have openly said we are pulling out.

Do you have any idea what will happen if the entire Middle East turns their support to Iran, which they will obviously do if we pull out? It is not the price of oil we will have to worry about. Oil WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE to this country at any price. I personally would vote for any presidential candidate who did what JFK did with the space program---declare a goal to bring this country to total energy independence in a decade.

Yes, it is about oil. The economy in this country will totally die if that Middle East supply is cut off right now. It will not be a recession. It will be a depression that will make 1929 look like the "good-old-days ". The bottom line here is simple. If Iran is forced to fall in line, the fighting in Iraq will end over night, and the nightmare will be over.
One way or another, Iran must be forced to join modern times and the global community. It may mean a real war---if so, now is the time, before we face a nuclear Iran with the capacity to destroy Israel and begin a new ice age.

They are our finest, and totally honest in their assessment of why victory in the Middle East is so important, and how it can be won. On the other hand, we have several very angry retired generals today, who ev idently have not achieved their lofty goals, and insist on ranting and raving about the war. They are wrong, and doing the country great harm by giving a certain political party reason to use them as experts to back their anti-war claims.

You may be one of those who believe nothing could ever be terrible enough to support our going to war. If that is the case , I should stop here, as that level of thinking approaches mental disability in this day and age. It is right up there with alien abductions and high altitude seeding through government aircraft contrails. I helped produce those contrails for almost 3 0 years, and I can assure you we were not seeding the atmosphere. The human race is a war-like population, and if a country is not willing to protect itself, it deserves the consequences. Nuff -said!!!

Now, my last comments will get to the nerve. They will be on politics. I am not a Republican. And, George Bush has made enough mistakes as President to insure my feelings about that for the rest of my life. However, the Democratic Party has moved so far left, they have made me support those farther to the right. I am a conservative who totally supports the Constitution of this country. The only difference between the United States and the South American, third world, dictator infested and ever-changing South American governments, is our US Constitution.

This Republic (note I did not say Democracy) is the longest standing the world has ever known, but it is vulnerable. It would take so little to change it through economic upheaval. There was a time when politicians could disagree, but still work together. We are past that time, and that is the initial step toward the downfall of our form of government.

I think that many view Bush-hating as payback time. The Republicans hated the Clinton's and now the Democrats hate Bush. So, both parties are putting their hate toward willingness to do anything for political dominance to include lying and always taking the opposite stand just for the sake of being opposed.

JUST HOW GOOD IS THAT FOR OUR COUNTRY? In my lifetime, after serving in uniform for Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, and Bush, I have a pretty good feel for which party supported our military, and what military life was like under each of their terms. And, let me assure you that times were best under the Republicans.

Service under Jimmy Carter was devastating for all branches of the military. And, Ronald Regan was truly a salvation. You can choose to listen to enriched newscasters, and foolish people like John Murtha (he is no war hero), Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Michael Moore, Jane Fonda , Harry Reid, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, and on-and-on to include the true fools in Hollywood if you like. If you do, your conclusions will be totally wrong.

The reason that I write, appear on radio talk shows, and do everything I can to denounce those people is simple. THEY ARE PUTTING THEIR THIRST FOR POLITICAL POWER AND QUEST FOR VICTORY IN 2008 ABOVE WHAT IS BEST FOR THIS COUNTRY. I cannot abide that. Pelosi clearly defied the Logan Act by going to Syria , which should have lead to imprisonment of three years and a heavy fine.

Jane Fonda did more to prolong the Vietnam war than any other human being (as acknowledged by Ho Chi Minh in his writing before he died). She truly should have been indicted for treason, along with her radical husband, Tom Hayden, and forced to pay the consequences. This country has started to soften by not enforcing its laws, which is another indication of a Republic about to fall. All Democrats, along with the Hollywood elite, are sending us headlong into a total defeat in the Middle East, which will finally give Iran total dominance in the region. A lack of oil in the near future will be the final straw that dooms this Republic. However, if we refuse to let this happen and really get serious about an energy self-sufficiency program, this can be avoided. I am afraid, however, that we are going in the opposite direction.

If we elect Hillary Clinton and a Democrat-controlled congress, and they carry through with allowing Iran to take control of the Middle East, continue to refuse development of nuclear energy, refuse to allow drilling for new oil, and continue to do nothing but oppose everything Bush, it will be over in terms of what we view as the good life in the USA . Now, do I think that all who do not support the war are un-American -- of course not. They just do not understand the importance of total victory in that region. Another failure of George Bush is his inability to explain to the American people why we are there, and why we MUST win. By the way, it is not a war. The war was won four years ago. It is martial law that is under attack by Irani an and Syrian outside influences, and there is a difference.

So, what do I believe? What is the bottom line? I will simply say that the Democratic Party has fielded the foulest, power hungry, anti-country, self -absorbed group of individuals that I have observed in my lifetime. Our educational system is partially to blame for allowing the mass of America to be taken in by this group. George Bush has done the best he can with the disabilities that he possesses.

A President must communicate with the people. And, I would tell you that Desert Storm spoiled the people. Bush Senior's 100-hour war convinced the people that technology has progressed to the point that wars could be fought with no casualties and won in very short periods of time. I remember feeling at the time, that this was a tragedy for the US military.

To win wars, you must put boots on the ground. When you put boots on the ground, soldiers are going to die. A President must make the war decision wisely, and insure that the cause is right before using his last political option. HI Y'all, Well here it is again late in the year and I haven't been typing too much...it's been busy here at the homestead here what with all the yard work and maintainence to keep up with and all.....latest thing is the fence we are putting in to keep the damn neighbors Frickin dogs out of our yard.....costing my Mom-in-law( she owns the place) 4500 bucks to flush cut all the BS way overgrown plants and stuff and then install the fence.....If it was up to me I would try to recoup it from the IDIOT neighbors who are letting their dogs run loose...But that isnt going to happen so its time to grin and bear it.....It should be done this week hopefully maybe I'll hang some Christmas lights on the fence just to annoy them....Speaking of Christmas I got another Email informing me that "The Gap", "Old Navy" and "Banana Republic" Censor Christmas they prefer the word "Holiday" All I can say to that is since they Dont recognize Christmas I dont recognize any of them and I wont spend any of my money there.....I see that Milwaukee Alderman Mike Mcgee/Jackson is running for re-election again even though he is in jail is is legal since he hasen't been convicted yet.......I'm catching up on lots of project around the house since the TV writers went on strike as all my programs are into re-runs now.....maybe that's a good thing as I have enough projects to keep me busy til I'm 150.....OK maybe not 150 but fer sure 100....and on that note I say so long for now so I can get ot some of those projects......Type at you later Gary

You gotta love Robin Williams... Even if he's nuts! Leave it to Robin Williams to come up with the perfect plan. What we need now is for our UN Ambassador to stand up and repeat this message. Robin Williams' plan...(Hard to argue with this logic!) "I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here's one plan."

1) "The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those "good ole boys", we will never "interfere" again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany , South Korea , the Middle East, and the Philippines . They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave.We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are. They're illegal!!! France will welcome them.

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH...learn it...or LEAVE...

Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?
Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?
And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all.
I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11. I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia .
I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.
I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.
I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.
I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.
In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.
When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care.
When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.
When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care.
And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-you guessed it-I don't care !!

Hi all , A while back I typed about 1 aldermans Idea to throw bricks at passing speeders....Well Guess what happened to him......He got himself arrested for taking bribes and extortion,threating to either murder a guy or at least beat the Hell out of him to get him to pay up....his bail was set at 250,000 bucks but later reduced to 100,000 and still no one as ponied it up to get him out of jail....I guess poppa don't have that kinda money. he certainly gets people to speak about him alright....the people in his district either love him or hate him....if the people in his district love him so much why aren't they poning up his bail money, I think it's because they have better uses for their money.....Some of the persons in his district rightly think of him as what he is; nothing more then a THUG who happened to get elected to public office.....yet others think he is the most wonderful alderman in Milwaukee.....It's guys like him who give Milwaukee a bad name and makes me glad I no longer live in the City of Milwaukee.....Just my humble opinion....Gary

Hi All , Usually I don't rant too much but today I just have to get on the ole soapbox. While I understand the medias job is to inform us of things that are happening, why do they have to repeat things over and over and blather on and on when they have nothing new to report. Todays incident is a good example....Today at about 4pmish a small business type jet crashed offshore about a mile or so East of Downtown Milwaukee. the Milwaukee Media upon learning this Broke in to regular programming to tell us this. then proceeded to go on and on about it for about a half hour. Why couldn't they just tell us it happened and then say " more details during the news which would have come on in a half hour anyway.....But no they have to show a a view of the boats motoring about on a empty lake and some parked firetrucks on shore for about a half hour and not tell us anything new. Then their news show starts and ends with this now No longer breaking news and they go to their regular programming. At 6PM the next program starts and get maybe 3 minutes into it they have to break in to tell us that a plane crashed off shore 2 hours ago and again showing us some boats motoring around an obviously empty lake and some parked fire trucks....Still not telling us anything new like they found either bodies or survivors but instead tell us that now the Mayor of Milwaukee as arrived where the fire truckes are parked like he can do anything about this incident....or the fact the the new Fire Chief is having a horrible First day on the Job due to this happening.....This is not what I would call news DUH!!!! We called the Tv station to complain and by what we were hearing in the background both on the phone and on the TV the phones were ringing off the hook most likely with complaints.......These people need to get a Frickin Clue because they don't have it right now......Now off to watch Hell's Kitchen unless of course it is interrupted by the stupid media with NOTHING NEW news.......Gary

Hi All, and thanks for stopping by. Tonights topic is about one Milwaukee Aldermans Idea on how to stop persons speeding in neighborhoods in his district. about a month or so ago a 14 or 15 year old girl was struck and Killed by a speeding hit and run driver. they have not yet found the driver. The Milwaukee Alderman's idea to stop speeders is to organize young men in and from his district to throw brick at all cars they think are speeding. This IDIOT isn't thinking about what the result of these actions. If these MORONS throw a brick at someones car and they hit it they could cause a motorist to lose control of their vehicle and hit some one on the sidewalk or in their front yard. They also could cause road rage incidents. In those neighborhoods it seems like everyone is packing a gun of some type or another and if hit by a brick the person could stop and get out of their car and start shooting. What kind of IDIOT get people to stop breaking one law by breaking another that isn't going to work all it will do is beget more violence which is what we're trying to avoid in the first place....It's my opinion that if some one throws a brick and hits a car or person that DUMBASS alderman ought to be arrested for inciting violence and frickin locked up and the key tossed out......either that or someone ought to brick the alderman.....he ought to remember the phrase " Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".......type at you all later Gary

Hi All, I have just a few comments on the elections held yesterday 4-3-07 here in wisconsin . First is on the the election of the newest justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, First let me say congrats to her Honor Judge Annette Ziegler on winning the election. Second let me say it was an ugly election with the mud slinging from the judges opponent and her negative attack ads made me hit the mute button every time one of her ads was on. It'll be great to have a conservative o the State Supreme Court for a change.....Now on to the last thing The Referendum in the Elmbrook School District....These people must be NUTS to think the voters would approve 109 Million Dollars to remodel the Two High Schools here in Brookfield Wi. We dont need to demolish 2/3rds of each school to remodel them....remodeling is one thing doing what the school board wanted to do is something else....It is all or nothing with them. I for one am fed up with governments and other taxing units out here thinking that just because its Brookfield that we all Have deep pockets and want to be taxed to the Hilt.....Its time to realize the fact that building dont teach people do...come back when you can come up with a REASONABLE plan and then we see what happens....Other wise things could end up like the private schools those who use them pay for them.....Why cant you follow New Berlin's Ideas they built TWO high schools for half of what you IDIOTS were asking....Its Time to get your Bioelectrical computers out of your Rectal Holding Compartments......That's all for now type at you all later Bye Gary

HI Everyone, I was just reading the msn home page report on the fact that the Iranians claim to be outraged over the way they are depicted in the Movie " 300". I havent seen the movie yet so I cant rightly say if they are or arent being insulted. I can say this for certain ..Why are you so insulted by a frickin movie didnt anyone tell you MORONS the most of the stuff coming out of Hollywood is Frickin make believe...jeez it's just a movie for pete's sake. It 's to go spend a an hour or so away from reality which is scary enough in its own right....There are enough things in the real world to worry about. if the movie was supposed to be factual it would have been a frickin Documentary not a summer blockbuster type of movie DUH.....It sound to me like the Iranians are just whining about it making them supposedly looking bad....They dont need a movie to do that their actions in the REAL WORLD are doing it for them...YA got to wonder why a country that is sitting on some of the biggest oil deposits in the world need with nuclear power for electrical power generation. I think they just want to build a bomb or at the very least make the world think they have it.......If I was incharge over here I would say go ahead as long as use use it for PEACEFUL purposes... Thank God the out of town relatives have left to go back to where the reside I mean it was nice to see them but glad to see them go home too. Hi All....I know it's been a while since I posted anything....but I noticed a few things lately...I see the people in the Inner city Of Milwaukee have Finally seen the light about their Idiot Alderman..I see there is a recall petition cirulating to have him removed from office....All I can say Is about time.....While I'm at it is it me or are there a plethora of annoying political ads on the TV ....I know the elections are coming but do WE need all these annoying commercials from these bumbling MORONS ...Jeez all the Drug, personal problem, college & political ads are driving me Nuts...At this rate I'll have to buy a new remote by election time because I'll "ave busted the old one from overuse of the MUTE button......On the work front things seem to be OK but there are a Few of the recent hires that don't seem to get it yet, I'm beginning to wonder when the Boss is going to relieve them MORONS of their positions and get people who get it or at least pick up the basics....Maybe he is giving them enough rope to hang themselves....On another note it seems that the expansion looks like it it moving forward, which is a good thing as we are running out of room...and at the rate things are going we are going to have a great sales year.....It is getting to that ugly time of year again....yup you guessed it Winter is coming with all the stinking snow and cold ....Phooey.....I heard that the El'nino might be starting up this year and that we'll have a better than 50% chance that our winter will be Warmer and Wetter than Normal ...I certainly hope so........The Old dying tree in the front yard is gone...I dont know when it was removed but I noticed it this morning and Karen(MY LOVELY WIFE) said it was there when she came home last night....I can't say it was I just said to her " I noticed it this Morning..10-19-06) either way Go FIGURE....more later as my show is coming on TV I love watching the Original CSI.... Hello everyone, I'm doing just fine now that I'm On vacation for 9 days....going to catch up on some trains chasing, sleeping and various other hobbies that the wife and I share....but on to the RT's ( that's Random Thoughts for you who live in Palm Beach...as Rush would say)...I got an email from a friend who thought i should read about something the Australian's are doing...They are telling the Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia Law to get out of Australia...the government there told muslim clerics that Australia is a secular state and the laws are made by Parliament and if you don't like it you can leave...and the PM said it on National TV there...I for one am all for it...We ought to do the same here in America..this is our country we speak English here... If we moved to your country we should do everything to be a member of that country instead of making the country change for me. I say this is America follow our laws, speak our language, adopt our customs, and if you dont like them or want to follow them then GO HOME to your own country....along those lines since their are some countries which seem not to like us I would take any troops out of there and put them in countries which would like us there...I would also never visit any of these places either or allow our citizens to go there...let them get along with our tourist dollars for a few years or so then see where their attitude is..... I saw the other day that some senator or congressman as purposed putting a big fence along the Mexican border from San Diego , Ca to Brownsville Tx I am all for it make it a concrete base 10 feet with a steel wall 15 feet high topped with razor/barbed wire....and have electronic sensors to detects intruders, also have manned towers every so far with spotlights,infrared,sound and 50cal machine guns to keep the illegals out. if they want to get in to the country let them apply for a visa and a passport like everyone else...they must also have the passort and visa on them at all times or they will be immeadiatly deported.. the passports and visa would have gps chips in them to be able to be located. this is getting a little long so to be continued....type at you later G

Hi Y'all out there...I hope you all are doing well...I have more random thoughts so here they are...first of all who the hell left open the freezer door man it COLD out today, nothing I can do about it so we'll move on....I see that Bush's critics are at it again...Saying that Bush misled everyone; if that is the case why did everyone who saw the same info that Bush did all said the Iraq and Saddam was a threat but now with midterm elections coming along they is changing their tune....To comment on a local issue...a Black Milwaukee Alderman who was parked outside of a suburban Video store after its closing time was called in by the manager(who by the way was also Black and couldnt see the person in the car) as a suspicious person loitering outside; when the cops showed up and talked to the Alderman he was told he was free to go about his way and his response was to yell things at the video store employees which were heard by the cops; he was then pulled over an told he was under arrest for Disorderly Conduct; he then claimes that the cops roughed him up and slammed his head on to the hood of a squad car.....All I can say was he was free to go and he just had to be STUCK ON STUPID he couldn't just let it go and leave, he had to respond to an what he thought was some disrespect by the video store employees. In my opinion until they ask everyone which way they might vote; these polls are just useless as they dont get a true picture of how everyone thinks at a given point in time. Wonderful Wetdown

Howdy Y'all , My Wife Karen and I went out to Mequon today to take part in a Fire Service tradition....It is known as a wetdown...For those of you who don't know what a wetdown is; It is the following ; A Fire Department buys a new piece of Apparatus (Pumper,Ladder, Heavy Rescue,etc..) they have a bunch of neighboring Fire Depts. come and park their trucks( usually pumpers) in a line usually a semi-circle; have the truck and the truck committee blessed by a man of the cloth( denomination doesn't matter) the truck committee then christens the vehicle with non-alcoholic sparkling champane and then is soaked by the hoses of the gathered firefighters for a minute or two all while the trucks have their lights flashing and sirens blaring...There is sometimes a traveling trophy to pass along to the dept. that gets the new truck and is passed on to the next dept which get a new truck....also there is the cutting of a cake with a cermonial axe used only to cut cakes....This event usually takes aboout an hour from start to finish once everyone is at the location of the event.....also for those taking pictures either still or video keep in mind which way the wind is coming from as YOU and YOUR CAMERA don't want to be Downwind when the water is flowing....also note sometimes the wind shifts after they start the water so be prepared to move quickly.....This is an event which as to be seen to get the full picture and enjoyment so get out there an watch for these events....and if your area doesn't have them suggest it to your local dept....they can be fun.....Take care and see ya at the next one...Gary

Good Evening all, I was undecided as to who to vote for in the special election until today. Today I found out that Mr. Dwyer is supported by Wisconsin's governor Doyle who has funneled money to the Dwyer camp.....This is why I am now going to vote for Dan Vrakas.....who by the way is supported by the former Co Exec Dan Findley...In fact I found out that Mrs. Findley was going to run for the spot but didn't have the funds or time to effectivly get her message out so she threw her suport behind Dan Vrakas. she believes enough in him to be his election committee treasurer.....type at ya later Gary

The Country is GONE at WEXT

This just ticks me off...The best country Music Station in this part of the state is going Spanish. Starting Friday 9-16-05 Nextmedia's WEXT 104.7 FM is going to start broadcasting Spanish Music. This Now Leaves only Two Country Music stations in the area Clear Channel's WMIL Fm106 Which only seems to play the Top 40 country songs over and over did sometimes play older stuff recently(mostly as a response to "The Wolf"). The other station is West Bend's WBWI at 92.5 at least they play a good variety of the old and the new but still not as much as WEXT"S " The Wolf" did. I end up switching back and forth depending where I am in the building I'm work in because they fade in and out. I just might end up having to go to an mp3 player on an Ipod to get to listen to the songs I like to listen to only because Milwaukee radio SUCKS...I swear these people in the market here just don't know what the hell they're doing; Just because the ratings aren't good enough these IDIOTS have to take a great sounding station and put on CRAP......I hear from my coworkers and friends who listen to other types of music in their opinion Milwaukee radio also sucks due to the fact the there is NO decent oldies, Rock stations here either. My coworkers who listen to rock have switched to a Madison Wi station that comes in pretty good here considering the distance.....I dont know what the oldies people are doing....besides going out of their minds.....Makes me wonder what the hell nextmedia was thinking since they're in 65 markets why did they have to experiment here with a format I for one am NOT the least bit interested in listening to I'm an American and I wish to listen to Music sung in English. I love Country Music followed by Rock,Classical and any others as long as it is in English maybe excepting Rap and Opera. But I would say this If Rap and Opera would be my only two choices I'd take Opera.....Til next time...G

In case you aren't familiar with how our government is SUPPOSED to work: The chain of responsibility for the protection of the citizens in New Orleans is:
1. The Mayor
2. The New Orleans director of Homeland Security (a political appointee of the Governor who reports to the Governor)
3. The Governor
4. The Head of Homeland Security
5. The President

What did each do?

1. The mayor, with 5 days advance, waited until 2 days before he announced a mandatory evacuation (at the behest of the President). Then he failed to provide transportation for those without transport even though he had hundreds of buses at his disposal.
2. The New Orleans director of Homeland Security failed to have any plan for a contingency that has been talked about for 50years. Then he blames the Feds for not doing what he should have done. (So much for political appointees)
3. The Governor, despite a declaration of disasterby the President 2 DAYS BEFORE the storm hit, failed to take advantage ofthe offer of Federal troops and aid. Until 2 DAYS AFTER the storm hit.
4. The Director of Homeland Security positioned assets in the area to be ready when the Governor called for them
5. The President urged a mandatory evacuation, and even declared a disaster State of Emergency, freeing up millions of dollars of federal assistance, should the Governor decide to use it.
Oh and by the way, the levees that broke were the responsibility of the local landowners and the local levee board to maintain, NOT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

The disaster in New Orleans is what you get afterdecades of corrupt (democrat) government going all the way back to Huey Long. Funds for disaster protection and relief have been flowing into this city for decades, and where has it gone, but into the pockets of the politicos and their friends. Decades of socialist government in New Orleans has sapped all self reliance from the community, and made them dependent upon government for every little thing. Political correctness and a lack of will to fight crime have created the single most corrupt police force in the country, and has permitted gang violence to flourish. The sad thing is that there are many poor folks who have suffered and died needlessly because those that they voted into office failed them. For those who missed item 5 (where the President'slevel of accountability is discussed), it is made more clear in a New Orleans Times-Picayune article dated August 28:

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - In the face of a catastrophic Hurricane Katrina, a mandatory evacuation was ordered Sunday for New Orleans by Mayor Ray Nagin.Acknowledging that large numbers of people, many of them stranded tourists, would be unable to leave, the city set up 10 places of last resort for people to go, including the Superdome.The mayor called the order unprecedented and said anyone who could leave the city should. He exempted hotels from the evacuation order because airlines had already cancelled all flights.
Gov. Kathleen Blanco, standing beside the mayor at a news conference, said President Bush called and personally appealed for a mandatory evacuation for the low-lying city,which is prone to flooding. The ball was placed in Mayor Nagin's court to carryout the evacuation order. With a 5-day heads-up, he had the authority to use any and all services to evacuate all residents from the city,as documented in a city emergency preparedness plan. By waiting until the last minute, and failing to make full use of resources available within city limits, Nagin and his administration messed up!!!!!! Mayor Nagin and his emergency sidekick Terry Ebberthave displayed lethal, mind boggling incompetence before,during and after Katrina. As for Mayor Nagin, he and his profile in pathetic leadership police chief should resign as well. That city's government is incompetent from one end to the other The people of New Orleans deserve better than this crowd of clowns is capable of giving them. If you're keeping track, these boobs let 569 buses that could have carried 33,350 people out ofNew Orleans-in one trip-get ruined in the floods. Whatever plan these guys had, it was a dud. Or it probably would have been if they'd bothered to follow it.
As for all the race-baiting rhetoric and Bush-bashing coming from prominent blacks on the left,don't expect Ray Nagin to be called out on the carpet for falling short. You want to know why?
Here's why: It's more convenient to blame a white president forwhat went wrong than to hold a black mayor and his administration accountable for gross negligence and failing to fully carry out an established emergency preparedness plan. To hold Nagin and his administration accountable for dropping the ball amounts to letting loose the shouts and cries of"Racism!".
It's sad, it's wrong, but it's standard operating procedure for the media and left-wing black leadership.
Mark my words: you will not hear a word of criticism from Jesse Jackson Sr., Randall Robinson, the Congressional Black Caucus, the NAACP, or Kanye West being directed toward Clarence Ray Nagin Jr.
Why? Because he is just another black politician instead of a responsible elected official who happens to be black. In the mind set of more-blacker-than-thou-blacks, black politicians who are on their side can do no wrong

Hi Everyone, First ; I hope you all are having a good weekend...Second...I do have some distressing news that I just received; If you are planning to drive down in Illinois....It is this...Since Wisconsin didn't sign some agreement with the state of Illinois.. They(Meaning the POLICE) are now targeting Wisconsin drivers for any and all offenses they can and YOU MUST PAY CASH then and there NO CHECKS or CREDIT CARDS or ATM/DEBIT CARDS. YOU MUST have a least $75 or it's OFF TO JAIL with you....now this fosters tourism how????? I now have cancelled all but one trip I was planning to take to Illinois ( and I usually go about 10 - 15 times a year) and have emailed the IDIOTS(in Illinois) that message and the fact that I will be emailing all my friends and contacts this Info.... targeting out of state drivers is a stupid thing to do because they will all tell everyone they know about it and no one will want to go there. I also put some of the blame here in the State of Wisconsin because they didn't sign this agreement.

To That I say stop your frickin complaining stupids you had a chance to get out and you morons stayed there....WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING... You know there was a catacory 4 hurricane coming; the mayor of New Orleans, the Governor of Louisiana, and the President of the United States all told you all to get the hell out and you morons stayed there. Hi All, It is the end of an era...Jerry Rice is retiring ..Man say it ain't so....while I'll admit since he played for the 49er's , Raiders, Seahawks,and Broncos and we(meaning the Packers ) had to play against him; I didn't like him for that cuz he usually kicked our butts...You have to give him credit...Jerry Rice is undoubtly the BEST to play the game ever....Just check out his stats..the man has 38 NFL records to his credit ....there wont be another like him anytime soon if ever....the game of football wont be the same without him....

Is it just me or is Ted Kennedy running off at he mouth again...Heard he said we should get out of Iraq again...They just had an election with a 60% or better turnout...Hell thats better than most elections here in the US...wonder how that makes you feel???. The Racine & Kenosha Law makers & Shakers want their section of the freeway(read I-94) rebuilt first...The Waukesha Co. Exec. And a local Lawmaker want the E/W section plus the Zoo Interchange fixed first...I'll tell ya why dont ya fix'em both at the same time since the freeways will be F.U.B.A.R anyway...Glad I don't have to take'em to work anymore...3 Children recently died in a house fire in the City of Milwaukee I (among others)was wondering WHY...(a)these kids were up at 1am(b) they had access to a lighter(c) why wasn't there a battery in the smoke detector.....Why is it when you are in a hurry to not be late for work things are going just fine until that last RR crossing and you are the first car in-line for a very slow moving 94 car train(happend to the missus this morning)....found out our(wisconsin)Dem. This is simple... You have a Flat Tax....You dont pay anything on Income under $25,000 and you pay 10% on everything you earn over that. The tax form at the end of the year(April 15th)is a postcard with the following 1. Annual Salary---enter amount. 2. Tax on Income-- Under 25,000 = 0 you pay no taxes period (also note you dont get a return check either because you paid no taxes) Over 25,000 you multify amount by .10 to get tax to be paid. Example say you earn 35,000 a year. you pay nothing on the first 25,000 which leave you to pay on 10,000. 10,000 x .10 = 1000 you write a check out for a 1000 and send it in with the signed postcard and you are done.
