Today's Road Trip

Hi Everyone, Today my wife and I went down to Rochelle Il to watch some a trains and videotape them....Well it turns out it seems that this trip was jinxed from the start....first of all it seems that every road is under const. I-39 was horrible....netween the Wi-Il stateline and the junction with US 20......after that it was ok.....got to Rochelle and only saw 3 trains.....decided to go over to the West end of Eola yard in Aurora so went there via Geneva Il;we never saw so much road const. on the way there. We stopped there for lunch.....a great place called Citizen Kane a pub style restaurant in an old movie theater.....after which we went to Eola West ........the road called McClure rd has been closed at the tracks.....but we were there for about 45-50 minutes and saw 5 trains...we are looking forward to going back there soon......type at you later....Gary
